Local 12 Member Spotlight – David Kelley
During these trying times in our world, Local 12 wants to bring some optimism and gratitude to its members. The goal of this new feature is to recognize members for their accomplishments and careers. It also helps us feel more connected to each other by learning more about our brothers and sisters.
Our next Member Spotlight feature is David H Kelley. David joined Local 12 in March of 1980. David was dispatched in July of 1989 to Pinnick, Inc. (formerly Signs & Pinnick) and celebrates 31 years with the company this year. He also gets to enjoy working alongside his son Brandon.
David’s career has been spent grading the mountains and communities of San Diego. He started as a production loader hand but has spent the better part of 20 years running a CAT 5130B Mass Excavator.
David’s son Brandon wanted to express his admiration and appreciation for his father’s work ethic, loyalty to our union, and training of the next generation of operators.
We appreciate David for his hard work and dedication to his craft and Local 12.
