Drone License Reimbursement
The Operating Engineers Training Trust has been conducting classes to prepare members to obtain a license to operate drones. This is required under Federation Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulation – Part 107. The license is required anytime a person operates a drone for commercial purposes.
How do I get reimbursed?
Local 12 will reimburse for the exam fee which is currently $175.00. Please provide Local 12 with a copy of your approved FAA receipt and a copy of your FAA Remote Pilot Certificate. A temporary certificate will not be accepted.
